North America’s leading moving and storage company implemented a proprietary application for their ERP platform which was unable to perform effectively and was unable to scale to support their plans for future growth. The company asked Liberty to evaluate the health of their application portfolio and assist them in selecting a strategic software ecosystem to support the future state Enterprise Architecture. Lack of alignment between business and technology groups required an evaluation of the company’s business strategy to inform the technology roadmap.

Our team provided the client with a technology roadmap to help them achieve business targets with milestones, resourcing needs, and risks. Liberty recommended a combination of vendor solutions aligned to key business capabilities. The finalized business capability assessment informed the prioritization of strategic initiatives for the remainder of current year and subsequent fiscal year. The outputs of the capability gap analysis acted as an accelerator for the ERP Ecosystem implementation, highlighting areas requiring configuration or customization within the recommended solutions and jumpstarting the business process optimization. Additionally, Liberty was able to outline a recommended delivery approach based on the known implementation risks and prior delivery experience that gave the company a looking glass into the next 18 months.
