Overview

In order to compete with emerging FinTech competitors, a Global Credit Card & Payments provider made a strategic decision to transform its entire technology delivery organization into an Agile Delivery model. Liberty was engaged to provide perspective, design a change management organization and execute the change including metrics to track progress.

The Business Problem

The client initiated a program to transform its technology organization in order to deliver products to market faster and compete with its newly emerging Silicon Valley competitors. To achieve its goals, client Leadership began a 3 year agile transformation effort, including a substantial hiring program and automation of its SDLC tools and processes. Liberty was engaged to assist in mobilizing a program that could ultimately deliver on the automation goals set forth by leadership.

The Outcome

Liberty was initially engaged to define the automation transformation for the client’s largest technology unit. The team assisted by quickly identifying key areas of automation opportunity based on savings, developing a forecasting tool to allow leadership to quantify potential benefit, and mobilizing a dedicated program team to raise awareness of automation tools and processes. This soon led to Liberty being engaged to provide the same benefits to another unit for continued momentum.
