Employees from Liberty Advisor Group (Liberty), a premier management consulting firm that helps clients tackle their toughest business and IT challenges, volunteered a full workday with the Greater Chicago Food Depository on September 28, 2023. The Liberty “Day of Change” initiative at the Greater Chicago Food Depository – a food bank in Chicago that brings food, dignity, and hope to our Cook County neighbors– was part of our company’s commitment to giving back to the community where we live and work.
Liberty Advisor Group worked at the Greater Chicago Food Depository to help put food on the table for those in need. They packed 6,360 lbs, 265 cases, 2,120 bags, 5,300 meals that benefits hundreds of food assistance programs across Cook County.
“This is the fifth year that Liberty has dedicated a workday to volunteer and give back to our community. As a team, we worked to provide food and peace of mind for individuals and families,” said Liberty CEO and Founding Partner Chad Smith. “Our efforts made an immediate impact in Chicago.”
Every dollar, hour, and pound of food contributed to the Food Depository makes a lasting impact for people who struggle with hunger. The Food Depository’s network of programs provides food and hope for our neighbors in need.

For more than 40 years, the Food Depository has worked to nourish Chicago. The Food Depository is part of a united community effort working to bring food, dignity and hope to our Cook County neighbors.
